Sonico, a Buenos Aires-based operator of a social network for Latin America, has raised $4.3 million in Series A funding.  Sonico (www.sonico.com) is a social utility that allows users to connect with real-life friends and share information, photos and videos in a safe, organized and fun environment. Since its launch in July 2007 it has become the fastest growing social network in Latin America and Brazil, with almost 17 million registered users.
