VoIPshield Systems, an Ottawa-based maker of products to secure VoIP communications, has raised Cnd$6 million ($5.96 mm) in second-round funding.  VoIPshield Systems is a VoIP security software company founded in early 2005.  It has operations in Ottawa, Canada and Chernivtsy, Ukraine.  VoIPshield develops and markets the VoIP Security Suite, a set of security applications purpose-built to protect VoIP networks and devices.  The company also provides Professional Security Services for VoIP.  VoIPshield sells primarily to medium-to-large enterprises managing a significant VoIP deployment.  VoIPshield also sells VoIPaudit through security consulting and solution providers servicing enterprises with VoIP installations.
