Telltale, a developer of episodic video games, announced on Tuesday that it has raised $6 million in its second round of venture capital financing, “Sam & Max: Season 1″ consisted of six episodes that were released monthly, and concluded in May; other titles include episodes adapted from Jeff Smith’s “Bone” graphic novel series, and games based on the TV show “CSI,” developed in collaboration with Ubisoft. The company said it will use the financing to develop new and existing episodic games, as well as to hire additional staff.
