Ceterus Networks Inc. said Monday it has raised $20 million. Ceterus’ equipment purportedly gives large phone and data carriers an easier and cheaper way of connecting their networks to those of customers that use ethernet technology. Some of Ceterus’ products connect big organizations’ ethernet networks to fiber- or copper-based networks used by big phone and data-services companies. Its technology can also be used on wireless cell towers.
