UltraCell Corporation - a manufacturer of micro fuel cell systems for portable devices. BASF said that it would provide $3 million (£1.53 million), which will go towards a total of $10.3 million raised by UltraCell in its Series C financing round. BASF identified energy management, including the development of new energy storage and conversion technology, as one of five “growth clusters” in the technology industry.
